I strive to empower students to discover a self starter spirit and develop their own unique skill set that enables a future of achieved dreams. I have twenty years of professional experience in business and operations management and have a strong background in team building and cultivating a business culture of inspiration. I am passionate about community development, peer mentorship, and mission outreach. I have been married to my middle school sweetheart, Chris for thirty years and enjoy painting, traveling, gardening, and cooking with my three daughters, son in laws and granddaughter. I look forward to meeting every new class of students with a welcoming heart.

I bring over 15 years of experience and passion for both cosmetology and barbering crafts.

I pride myself in always seeking out the newest and best continuing education and am a constant learner knowing that education does not stop the moment you have a license.

My certifications include Dreamcatcher hair extensions, Inoar GHair keratin treatment and am a Redken color specialist. I love working with the local businesses community leaders. This helps us keep up with current trends and real-world experiences.

My goal is to educate and prepare aspiring barber stylists with a practical experience that will prepare them to pass the state board and start a promising career. My method of educating is to bring real world scenarios using craftsman technique to the classroom.

Licensed in both Texas & Louisiana with many years of experience in both barbering & cosmetology. I am motivated by the rewards of helping others reach their goals. The success of a student is a by product of my passion.

I help students achieve professional and personal success. I am an Arkansas native but have lived in McKinney since 2006 with my husband of 27 years. We are the parents of 2 adult children. Our son, Patrick and his wife, Emmalee live in McKinney. Our daughter, Marie, is an accountant, and lives in NW Arkansas. I am a management professional with over 25 years of progressive experience and expertise in project management, team leadership, process improvement, procurement and operations support. I spent the majority of my professional career working for Walmart Inc. located in Bentonville, AR and Mascot Building Services in Allen, TX.
Patricia Gallardo

I have lived & worked in the Texoma area for 26 years. I have instructed at Diamonds College, Grayson College & Denison High School. I have also run my own salon at Patricia’s Hair & Permanent Cosmetics. I am a licensed Cosmetology Operator/Instructor & Intraderm Technician. I am always seeking to improve myself & my profession by attending continuing education & specialty classes. I am certified in Hair Coloring Essentials, Skin Peels, Hair Fusion, Keratin Complex, Express Blow-out & Brazilian Blow-out. I specialize in all aspects of hair coloring, as well as up-do’s for special occasions. I have a great passion for the beauty industry & the desire to help students reach their educational goals.

As one of the cosmetology and barber colleges in the world, Diamonds College has a responsibility to its owners, customers, partners, employees, and students to remain compliant with both regulatory requirements of the entities that govern vocational schools . As such I am responsible for creating a Risk and Compliance practice that ensures controls are in place to ensure we continuously deliver the highest quality of service to our students and our customers.
